At work at the moment we are setting up a PetsWorld Website where everyone can go and view what animals we have instore, so I have had a chance to do a little work with my camera again, finally.
I also go a chance to go to the Waterfall last week on one of my days off. I have recently put those photos on here, but I do hope to go out there again in a week or so. Dont know how that will go though, as I think my ear infection or whatever it is has come back and I am terribly dizzy again.
I hope to get back into drawing and painting again soon, Ive missed it so much. I did sit down for about an hour two days ago and started and funnily enough completed a drawing/colouring of a Arabian Horse. I will get around to scanning and placing it on here soon enough im hoping. Im trying to work and learn more about colouring and shading etc on my works. Horses are so damn difficult though, you would think that they were simple enough when looking at them, but they are not!
Still, they are beautiful creatures, and I miss going horse riding.
Ive been pretty busy with all the little baby bunnies I have at home at the moment.
Banxia had three healthy little kits (some photos are up of these)
They are all growing so fast. They are about three weeks old now, both eyes are open on all and they are exploring outside of the nest box now. It was so cute, the other day I had them on my bed wrapped up in my arms in a towel, and they all fell asleep. Cutest thing ever!
I dont want to have to give them away, but I know I cant keep them all, So Im going to look for good homes for them. But I do plan on keeping one, Owen wont let me give them all away, so we are going to keep the little one that we call mini Finn, as he looks so much like the Adopted Bunny I got from the RSPCA.
Binkette, the Albino mini Rex X Dwarf lop is still living with me until I can find her a good Foster carer. She seems happy in her new giant hutch I got her.
She is a lovely bunny, but I just cant continue to pamper her like all my other Pets. She was dumped on me by an unworthy Rabbit Breeder, but I willingly took her in and im sure I will end up becoming too attached to her and wont be able to give her way. haha.
Update: Binkette has actually had seven little kits in the past week, and she is taking very good care of them, so far all seven have survived the cold and are starting to get little fuzz furr.
Update 2: The Kits are now two and a half weeks old and have opened their eyes. They are starting to take interest in whats outside the nest box, but only for small amounts of time as they are still very frightened of what is not familiar to them.
Keep watch as I will be putting photos up of them shortly.
